Reformation 500-Bunker Hill

One afternoon, we headed to the Bunker Hill monument for a tour led by David Botkin. Even though it was about 63 degrees, foggy, and pouring rain we had a great time. This young man really knew his stuff!  It is always great to visit these kinds of places and have their significance explained by someone who is passionate and knowledgeable about what took place.

The view from the top of the monument (294 steps up, in a full length skirt. :P)

Emily and Mom in front of the monument.  (It finally stopped raining.)
