Rome

We arrived safe and sound in Rome, Italy yesterday (Tuesday) with no delays. We couldn't get the internet or camera cord to work last night so I couldn't post pictures. Sorry! I should be able to do it tonight though.
We saw the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Bascilica yesterday. St. Peters is HUGE, MASSIVE, ENORMOUS. BEAUTIFUL.

I need to go now, off to see the Coliseum!!!!

Emily said that she's only needed to use the fire-extinguisher once. Have a wonderful time, but beware of what the house will look like when you come home!

Out of curiosity, are they still really strict and paranoid at the Sistine Chapel about not letting people recline on the plastic bench thingies against the wall so they can look at the ceiling without breaking their necks? Or perhaps that didn't come up...
Please eat some pistachio gelato and passion fruit gelato for me. Oh, and you really should eat as much prosciutto as you possibly can while you're there, too.
Hope you're having as much fun as it looks like you are!
