Here is picture collage of this past year. It was quite the year!
It snowed!! For some people this means nothing but for us this is huge.
In late January we flew out to Breckenridge, Colorado, for an adventure-filled week of skiing, snowboarding, and dog sledding.
In March we attended the Economics conference in Raleigh
And all throughout the year I spent time with friends
In April we drove down to Charleston for a weekend tour celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.
In May I flew to Europe for the trip of my dreams.
First we visited Rome, Italy
Then Budapest, Hungary
Then we took a train which traveled through Germany
And Austria
And ended in Switzerland
Two weeks after I arrived back my dear friend Maryfrances got married.
Two weeks later another friend ours got married
Then in August more friends got married in Colorado and Emily and I flew out and stayed with friends and had a wonderful time.
After Colorado, Emily and I continued on to Idaho where we helped out our aunt who had just had her fourth baby.
In September numerous members of our family and friends did a triathlon here in town.
In October we drove to the mountains to see the beautiful trees and we hiked to Mt. Mitchell
We also celebrated my mom's 50th birhtday
The next weekend Carter finished his first Ironman. 2 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile run!
That same weekend I was at the Gospel-Centered Marriages conference where part of the time I fellowshipped with these lovely girls
While I was there I also purchased a beautiful hammered dulcimer
And all throughout the year I help out at a homeschool co-op where I watch two of the cutest four year old boys ever.
For Thanksgiving we drove up to Ohio to see our cousins and we played games almost all day long
All throughout the summer we went to the beach, at least twice a week.
I can't imagine not living near the beach
And last but not least we drove up to D.C. to see family right after Christmas

Oh my goodness, I had forgotten about that picture of Hannah and I with Isaac in the background! It's SO FUNNY! I think I may need to have that blown up to gigantic proportions and hung in our living room or something.
You've been blogging so frequently lately! YAY ANNA!
